Microsoft Setup Bootstrapper stopped working while installing Office
By implementing the latest technology, Microsoft has made an attempt to speed up the installation of its products. In the past, we used files that successfully installed the product. Nevertheless, Microsoft uses Bootsrapper technology in Office 2019/2013/2016. Bootstrapper is responsible for initializing a program built from a composite program library.
Recently, when installing Microsoft Office, we faced the dilemma of installation failure due to Bootsrapper technology. We got the following error:

The error caused the application to stop working. This application will close through the windows and notify you if a solution is available.
As you can see in the error message that was previously displayed, Windows closes the application, but it never tells you anything to solve the problem, and you need to manually fix the problem by the following means:

Before starting, perform a system restore point before using this option. Errors in using the registry can lead to a corruption of the system since its execution.
Completely uninstall the Office configuration. It is very important. follow these steps and see if that helps.
1. Press the Windows + R key combination, type regedit in the Run dialog box, and then press the Input key to start Registry Editor.
2. In the left pane, browse here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ AppCompatFlags
3. In this place of the registry, as shown in the picture above, right-click the AppCompatFlags key and select Export. Save the key as a registration document in a convenient place on your system for backup. Click exactly the same key, i.e. AppCompatFlags, and select Publish.
Now you can close Registry Editor and then restart your device.
After restarting the computer, install Microsoft Office in a sterile boot state.
